course description
"The objective of this course is to help the student understand the conceptual and technical challenges of sound, and the important communication role it plays when combined with visuals. Techniques of recording, generating, editing, synchronizing, and manipulating sound data will be dealt with in depth. Conceptual issues of noise, sound and music will be covered. The goal is to create a keen awareness of the evocative, informational, and temporal possibilities that sound offers in connection to the students' visual work from other classes."
